The best bahjis I have ever tasted!
1. Chop the onions and add to a mixing bowl.
2. Seive in the flour and add the cumin seeds, coriander and lemon juice
3. Mix well, crusing the onions to release the juices into the flour.
4. Beat the egg and then add to the bowl, mixing until you have a sticky dough. If you need to, you can add an extra egg to help the mixture bind.
5. Get a dolop of the mixture on the end of a wooden spoon and carefully drop into a deep frier. As as many drops as you can fit in. Cook for two minutes before turning over and cooking for another two minutes. Drain on kitchen towel, while frying the next batch.
